SideJobConnections.com is a web-based tool that is transforming the way we find skilled individuals or companies to take care of any type of service need. Many of the Service Providers are professional that do work on the side which will save you money, some Service Providers are individuals that can only be found by word of mouth an do not advertise anywhere else. Let the local companies and Service Providers come to you! Simply go to SideJobConnections.com and post your project and receive bids directly online from local Service Providers. You can then review the bids, select a Service Provider according to your own criteria and invite them to perform the work. You will not be contacted directly from the Service Provider so you do not have to worry about annoying phone calls, mail, and emails. You are in control of who you wish to talk to.
Can I find Service Providers if I don’t want to post a project and have people bid on my project?
Yes, on the top of every page you can select a Category and entire the zip code where the service need exists. You will see a search result list of the Service Providers that serve your area. Then when you find a Service Provider that you would like more information on, just click “Get Details” and you can review their back ground information. This is the same information you would see if you were to post a service need and receive a quote from that individual or company.

You could spend hours searching the phone book and contacting a list of potential contractors. For each call, you have to repeat your full description of the project details and schedule yet another appointment to receive quotes. Following through on all of these activities; searching, contacting, negotiating, scheduling and meeting with contractors is time consuming and often times very frustrating. On top of all the work you put into it, each time you speak with a new company, you provide your personal information whether you use their services or not. What is the first step to post a side job or service need with SideJobConnections.com?
Posting a Service Need is very easy. Go to SideJobConnections.com and click on “Post a Service Need” and select the first option to “Receive Quotes.” Then, simply fill out the form. The time required to post your project is less than a few minutes from start to finish. The “*” starred fields are required to complete the posting. You will need to select the appropriate project category (e.g. residential) and subcategory (e.g. plumbing), describe your project (e.g. install new faucet in bathroom), and then click on “Submit Your Job.”
After you’ve submitted a Service Need you can log-in with your username and password to review the bids you receive and select a Service Provider. We will e-mail you when your service posting receives questions or bids.
What types of side jobs or service needs can I post on SideJobConnections.com?
You can post almost any kind of service or project need. We have categories and subcategories that cover over 250 types of needs. So no matter what type of help you would like, post it on SideJobConnections.com to receive competitive bids. If you would like to make a suggestion for a new category or sub-category please use the Contact Us page. We look forward to your feedback and suggestions.

After posting my side job or service need, how long does it take to receive a bid?
Once you have posted your project, we immediately start the process of sending out your project details to local Service Providers who have indicated that they can provide the service or skills required. Since some of the Service Providers may be on-the-go or at a worksite during the day, they may not have immediate access to the Internet if a new project is posted during work hours. However, once they review the details, they should respond as soon as possible with their bid. Depending upon the type and/or size of the project, you should start seeing bids within a day and in some cases much sooner.
What do I do after I receive a Bid?
To review the bids you’ve received for your project log into SideJobConnections.com with your ID and password. Be sure to compare all parts of the bids you receive, not just the money aspect. Things like experience levels, insurance/license, and references are important parts of the Service Provider’s profile. Once you’ve looked at the details of the Service Provider’s profile select the provider that matches your needs.
What do I do if a Service Provider asks a Question?
You will receive an automatic email notifying you that a Service Provider has asked a question regarding your posted project. Log back into SideJobConnections.com and answer the question from the Member Home Page. If you feel the question is not appropriate you can choose to delete that question. Keep in mind that all Service Providers that review your posted Service Need will be able to view the question and answer.
Who do I pay after the side job is complete?
Once you have chosen a Service Provider and they have provided you with a final quote, all contractual terms such as schedules, project amount and payment method are handled directly between you and the Service Provider. SideJobConnections.com does not act as a broker or agent for any of the Service Providers. All fees and contractual terms are between you and the selected Service Provider.
What if I select a Service Provider but do not like them when I meet them?
You are never under any obligation to use a Service Provider you initially selected through the bidding process, especially if you do not feel comfortable with them or their bid after meeting or talking to them further. You may decline their bid at any time and select another bid from the list of Service Providers which had originally bid on your project or simply re-post your project to receive new bids.

What happens after I fill out the Service Provider profile form?
Once your information has been submitted into SideJobConnections.com you will be forwarded to the Member Home Page, this will give you an overview of the Available Side Jobs that match your Profile. You can choose to review the Side Jobs and place bids or ask questions of those jobs.
Once you have been entered into our system you will be notified via email when new Side Jobs come in that match the profile you have entered. We encourage you to log in to SideJobConnections.com and check out what’s new on the website on a regular basis, but you don’t need to in order to know about the latest posted service needs in your area.

How do I edit my Service Provider profile if a see an error or information has changed?
Log back into SideJobConnections.com using the user name and password you created, on the right side of the Member Home Page you can click on Edit Profile and make any necessary changes.
What can I do to stand out from my competition on the SideJobConnections.com website?
The best thing you can do is fill out the entire Service Provider profile form, check for spelling accuracy and be as descriptive as possible about your work experience. The profile form is the first impression you will make on your potential customers, so make it count.

We will not sell you information. We have taken many steps to protect your email information from inappropriate parties. Please let us know if you think you have received spam emails from posting information on our site.
If I am selected, who pays me for my work and how do I get paid?
SideJobConnections.com does not act as a broker or agent between you and the Project Owner. All contract terms such as schedules, fees for services and method of payment should be included in a written proposal that is signed and handled directly between you and the Project Owner. Payments should be made after the project is complete or as agreed between both parties. Be sure to confirm the payment method with the Project Owner before beginning the work to avoid any misunderstandings between the parties.
How can I list my company information and references for review by potential customers?
Once you have filled out the Service Provider Profile form, others will be able to review all of the information you have entered.
What will I be charged for project I receive through this website?
There is no charge for a project or lead that you get through the SideJobConnections.com website.
What happens if the side job is bigger than the original project, and I need to change my Bid?
There is no obligation for either party until both the Project Owner and the Service Provider have fully agreed to the project terms and pricing. If there is a discrepancy in the project details and price you should specifically discuss the differences with the Project Owner and present an alternate bid. The Project Owner may accept your revised bid or may decline the new bid and choose another Service Provider from the original bid submissions.
Why am I not receiving email notification of new Service Needs?
First check the spam or junk folder on your email to ensure the SideJobConnections.com e-mails aren’t going there. Second, check to see that the correct email address was entered in our system as part of the Service Provider profile. If you are still having problems with the automatic email, please contact us at customerservice@sidejobconnections.com. We will work with you individually to resolve the issue.
